Terms of Service
Last updated: 2 October 2026
1. The service
Fiducia is provided by Lumnika. It publishes public trust pages for businesses, collects customer reviews, and exposes them as HTML, schema.org markup, a JSON API and an embeddable badge. Using the site, writing a review or embedding the badge means you accept these terms.
2. Reviews
- A review counts only after its author confirms their email address. You may review a business only if you had a genuine experience with it.
- You must not write fake, paid-for, incentivised-without-disclosure, defamatory, hateful or unlawful content, or reviews of your own business or of a competitor.
- Review history is append-only: an author may post an updated review, which supersedes the previous one; earlier text is kept in the record and not silently edited.
- You grant Fiducia a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to publish, reproduce and distribute your review (including via the API, feeds and badges) and to let third parties, including AI assistants, read and cite it.
- We may remove or hide reviews that break these terms or the law, and we act on valid notices sent to the contact below.
2a. Reporting and content moderation
- Anyone can report a review with the "Report" link under it, choosing a reason: fake or paid, not a real customer, offensive or hateful, personal data, illegal content, or other. Illegal content can also be notified to the contact below; please say why it is unlawful and where it is.
- A person reviews every report, normally within 7 days. A review reported by three different people is hidden as "under review" until a decision. A report by the business itself never hides a review on its own.
- If a report is upheld, the review is removed from the public page, the API and badges; it stays in our internal record. If you left an email, we tell you the outcome and the reason.
- Authors, businesses and reporters can contest any decision by writing to the contact below; the request is examined by someone who did not take the first decision. Accounts that repeatedly post manifestly illegal content or file manifestly unfounded reports may be ignored.
3. Businesses
Business pages may be created from publicly available information before the business claims them. A business may send review invitations only to its real customers and must not select, reward or pressure reviewers to obtain positive ratings. Invitations are single-use and marked as "verified invite".
4. API and badge
The summary API and the badge are free to use with attribution and a link to the business page. Do not alter ratings or counts, and do not overload the service.
5. Paid plans
Fiducia Pro is offered monthly (USD/EUR 19), annually (USD/EUR 190) or as a 12-month pass paid once (USD/EUR 229, no renewal). Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time from the billing portal in your dashboard, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. A domain that has never subscribed can start a 14-day free trial with a card: you are charged only if you do not cancel before the trial ends. Payments are processed by Stripe, which sells the purchase as reseller and merchant of record: it calculates VAT or sales tax for your country at checkout and emails the receipt. Refunds: a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first Pro payment, as described in the Refund Policy. Statutory consumer rights are not affected.
6. Liability
Reviews are the opinions of their authors, not of Fiducia. The service is provided "as is"; to the extent permitted by law, Fiducia is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and its total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the previous 12 months.
7. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Questions and removal requests: fiducia@lumnika.com. See also the Privacy Policy.
